The morning of October 5th, 2025, in Bedford, MA, was filled with bright colors, cheerful faces, and an uplifting sense of purpose. Families, friends, and teams came together to take part in the Step Beyond Celiac 5K — a race that goes far beyond the finish line. It’s a collective step toward awareness and a cure for celiac disease.
The event brought together people of all ages: children playing and laughing, runners warming up with determination, and volunteers enthusiastically cheering and keeping everything on track. Before the start, an emotional moment kicked off the day — a family cut the ribbon with a pair of scissors, symbolizing the beginning of a morning filled with unity, hope, and action.
Throughout the course, smiles, high-fives, and encouragement were everywhere. Some ran, others walked, but everyone shared the same goal: to support the cause and celebrate the strength of the celiac community.
Volunteers lined the route, clapping and cheering, creating a heartwarming atmosphere that carried runners all the way to the finish. The morning ended with laughter, family hugs, and the kind of joy that lingers long after the race is done.
Photographing the Step Beyond Celiac 5K was a true pleasure — capturing genuine moments of joy, kindness, and community spirit is what makes this work so meaningful.
