Graduation days are always emotional, but this Boston College graduation session felt especially meaningful.

Pedro graduated from Boston College surrounded by so much love, pride and emotion from his family, and it was beautiful to witness every moment unfold throughout the day. From Alumni Stadium celebrations to portraits around the iconic Boston College campus, this session felt like so much more than graduation photos — it felt like a family celebrating every sacrifice, every late night and every step that led to this milestone.

One of my favorite things about photographing graduation sessions is documenting the connection between families during such an important life moment, and this Brazilian family brought so much warmth, joy and genuine emotion to every part of the day.

There were emotional hugs, proud smiles, laughter, happy tears and so many beautiful candid moments between Pedro and the people who supported him throughout his college journey. Those are always the moments that matter most.
